Business Funding Assistance (GO-Biz CIP)
Do you need money to Start or Grow your business? Entrepreneurs and business owners can recieve no-cost, confidential consulting on how to locate and apply for convention bank loans, SBA loans, low-interest micro-loans, non-traditional lending, and reach Angel/Equity investors. The Valley Sierra SBDC has professional and financial projections and other documents required by funders/investors.
Stanislaus Employer Assistance Program (StanEAP)
Looking for new ways to help your business survive and thrive? Stanislaus County employers facing possible layoffs should consider applying to the Stanislaus EAP. Our expert team of professional business consultants can provide confidential assistance in all key business areas – at no cost to you. Funded by the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA), EPA consultants help eligible employers identify hidden issues and help overcome challenges impacting the business. Since 2010, the StanEPA has successfully assisted over 80 Stanislaus County employers resulting in over 600 local jobs saved.
Valley/Sierra Business Empowerment program
Empowering your Business Dreams. The SBDC has received several grants to assist rural, minority, veteran, Hispanic, and woman-owned businesses as well as low/moderate income entrepreneurs throughout Stanislaus, Merced, and Tuolumne counties. The Valley/Sierra Business Empowerment program offers no-cost consulting and training in both English and Spanish to help develop the right business concept, seek startup funding, and receive on-going training from startup to long-term business success. In 2018, this program is funded by grants from Bank of the West, Citi Bank, Oak Valley Community Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank Foundation.
Strategic Management and Revenue Training for “SMaRT” Business Growth
Taking your Business to the Next Level. The Valley Sierra SBDC offers a variety of advanced business workshops throughout the yea for business owners and their key personnel. Workshops are focused on high-level business management training that leads to improved operations/profitability, efficient business systems, technology to grow sales and customers, and sourcing and securing expansion capital. Central Sierra Small Business program
Supporting Mariposa, Tuolumne, Calaveras Entrepreneurs & Small Businesses. Funded by a USDA grant, this program allows the SBDC to expand services in Mariposa, Tuolumne, Calaveras counties and is providing multiple non-profit partners with funds to host trainings and consulting. This program ends 6/30/18.
Tuolumne County Business Outreach program
Visiting existing small businesses in Tuolumne County. Under a contract with the TCEDA, this program funds the SBDC to visit as many existing Tuolumne County businesses as possible from 1/1/18-6/30/18 to determine their needs, assess problems and offer appropriate SBDC assistance. SBDC consultants will also provide businesses with information regarding various business resources available within the county.
